Disaster Management

Overview:Online lectures on the fundamentals of disaster preparedness in a systematic manner.
 The theory of disaster preparedness aims to provide students with the basic knowledge and concepts necessary to operate in the field. To this end, students will learn through lectures a systematic understanding of disaster countermeasures, including hazard threats, understanding of disaster phenomena, and organizational capabilities.

Subject:People involved and interested in disaster preparedness.
  Specifically, municipal and prefectural officials involved in the operation of disaster response headquarters,
 Members of residents' organizations such as voluntary disaster prevention organizations,
 Persons in charge of BCP and crisis management operations, such as companies and organizations,
 People interested in disasters and disaster preparedness.

Matters to be understood:Seven phases of disaster preparedness, comprehensive disaster preparedness matrix, risk and crisis management, decision-making approach, 47 types of disaster preparedness tasks, and prioritization of disaster preparedness tasks.
