The Numata Laboratory of the Institute of Industrial Science at the University of Tokyo conducted a survey of municipal employees nationwide regarding support staff. The 3,499 employees from across Japan
Almost 30 years have passed since the 1995 Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. Using the "Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake Lesson Learned Information Resource Book" by the Cabinet Office as a teaching tool, an early morning workshop and symposium were held to discuss the lessons learned from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.
Registration is now closed for this training course held in Hadano City, which was severely damaged in the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923! Participants will learn disaster countermeasures through hands-on experience in forests and mountain areas.
